Celebrating a Successful First Year In Our New Dronfield Office

It’s hard to believe a year has passed since we moved to our new offices on Sheffield Road in Dronfield, but today marks the day we opened to the public.

Our three storey premises are more than three times the size of the building we’d called home for the previous decade and I’m pleased to say it has been well worth the effort. The total matters handled in the past 12 months has risen 33% on the year before.

The larger office space allowed us to recruit additional probate and residential conveyancing experts to work alongside me and my fellow Dronfield stalwart, Nichola Barnes. We knew the demand for our services was there and this has been borne out by the number of cases we’ve opened, which has increased by 25% across both teams.

The move also prompted us to introduce our first family law specialist to be based here permanently. Rachael Barlow has quickly become a familiar face around the town and has already helped 98 local residents with issues concerning divorce and separation.

In addition, our longstanding free personal injury clinics are still going strong, every Wednesday evening from 5-7pm.

The number of support staff at our office has increased significantly in the last 12 months and these are the unsung heroes in our midst. They ensure you are greeted by a friendly face, keep the office running like clockwork and allow us to retain the high standards of client care for which we are renowned, despite being busier than ever.

We now have three meeting rooms, where we only had one before and this extra space, both inside and outside in the larger carpark, make it easier for colleagues from our Arundel Gate headquarters to arrange appointments with local clients.

We have regular visits from residents needing help with all aspects of the law, from contentious probate, to commercial property and being able to park for free, directly outside the building, is a real bonus – no more sitting in Sheffield traffic jams!
