At Taylor Emmet, we understand the importance of giving back to our local community and making a difference to charities and organisations that matter to our clients and colleagues.
In 2025, we have pledged to raise at least £20,000 for our four charity partners. We will donate evenly to The Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, Support Dogs, the Alzheimer’s Society, and the Weston Park from the money raised.
Our volunteer charity committee has a 12-month calendar of exciting fundraising activities to help raise money to meet our ambitious goal.
We’re also hosting several fundraisers dedicated to our chosen charities. We’ve already hosted a very successful ‘Dog and Doughnut Day’ in honour of Support Dogs. A couple of their support dogs even visited our Sheffield office to help!
Support Dogs also offer talks about how their specialist support dogs transform lives, they also produce a regular publication, you can find out more here and sign up for the free ‘Support Dogs Magazine’.
Volunteer days
Community is one of our core values. We know that giving back to charities close to our colleagues’ hearts is important. That’s why we’re proud to host a Volunteer Day Scheme for all staff to get involved in.
The initiative offers staff a paid volunteer day to take at a charity of their choice.
The scheme means that more than 200 of our team will go out each year to help an organisation and help make a difference.
Making Our Mark
Michaela Evans, said: “Although we have a long history of charitable support, this is the first time we have been bold enough to set ourselves an ambitious target and take such a structured approach to our fundraising. We have a highly motivated, enthusiastic charity committee leading this initiative and I am really looking forward to seeing their creative and inspiring ideas come to life to benefit our chosen organisations.”
