We are welcoming three budding young solicitors, who are embarking on training contracts with Taylor&Emmet.

The trio will spend the next two years putting their legal studies into practice, to help them gain experience in different disciplines before settling on a specialism.

Martha O’Toole, Beth Jenkins and Kris Little will each complete a minimum of three seats within our business and personal legal services teams.

Martha and Beth begin their training with the clinical negligence and probate departments respectively, after working in administrative roles during the summer. Kris has been employed in the firm’s conveyancing team since 2014 and commences his training in litigation.

The triple appointment comes hot on the heels of permanent positions being taken up by recently qualified solicitors, Samantha Sims and Oliver Simpson, who have joined our clinical negligence and probate teams. Both showed such promise, they were offered contracts upon successful completion of their training with more than a year left to go.

All three of our new trainees are excellent academics, but what made them stand out from the crowd was their interpersonal skills. It is vital the people working with our clients provide great customer service and they are well on the way to not only becoming successful solicitors, but also the type of people we want representing the firm.
