Recently, Eleanor Buckley, settled a claim for a young lady who was a passenger involved in a fatal accident. The car, containing three other people, was involved in a head on collision.
The driver of the car in which she was sat attempted to overtake the vehicle in front of him at speed, unfortunately he failed to take into account the traffic travelling in the opposite direction and as a result the cars collided head on. Tragically the driver of the oncoming vehicle passed away at the scene.
Due to the accident, our client suffered multiple injuries that included lacerations to her face and whiplash injuries to her neck, back and shoulders. Fortunately for her none were too serious. However, not surprisingly she also suffered with travel anxiety.
After taking on the case, we have now managed to secure compensation for our client in the region of £7,000.00.
As for the driver of the car, his insurers paid for the claim. He was convicted of dangerous driving and was sentenced to time in prison. The insurers will also be paying compensation to all those injured in both the vehicles, as well as a payout to the relatives of the deceased driver.
