Step 2 – Taylor’s visit to the Doctor
Taylor was in quite a bit of pain after his nasty tripping accident so he rang his GP for an appointment. It must have been a slow day at the GP practice because he was given an appointment the same afternoon!
The Doctor was quite concerned about Taylor’s jaw, which was alarmingly soft. After taking careful notes about the circumstances of the accident, the Doctor referred Taylor to a hospital for an X-ray.
It is very important that clients give medical professionals a clear and truthful account of how they were injured. Medical records form an important part of the evidence used to prove a claim for Personal Injury.
Fortunately, the X-ray came back with no evidence of any fractures. The GP rang to give Taylor the good news. The GP has also signed Taylor off work for a week while he recovers. At the time of publishing, this was having precisely no effect on the efficiency of our office (there were dark mutterings that it was even easier to get work done without Taylor’s impromptu song and dance routines) .
One thing is for sure: things are quiet around here without Taylor. He will be back in next week so I will ask him to see if he wishes to make a Personal Injury claim against the Local Authority.
