This week, I have settled a RTA claim which has been ongoing on for 18 months – the Defendant drove out of a junction on a country road and collided with the Claimant, pushing her car across the carriageway, through a hedge and down an embankment.
She had to be cut free from the car by the emergency services. She suffered with whiplash injuries to her neck and back but the main injury was psychological. We obtained Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for her and later obtained compensation of £5,850.00 damages.
