This week I have settled a case for a young lady who was unlucky enough to fall down a flight of concrete steps, sustaining significant dental and facial injuries. Liability was initially denied by the insurers who alleged that the step that caused the accident was not defective .
After carrying out investigations we were able to find an independent witness who supported our client’s allegations and the insurers changed their minds.
After months of negotiating, we have obtained compensation of £18,500.00 for our client. This sum includes an award for her injuries as well as the cost of the future dental treatment she will require.
