It has been another good week for some of our Personal Injury clients as several cases have settled. I will mention two of them:
I have settled a claim for a lady who slipped on a wet floor in a bakery and suffered soft tissue injuries to her hip, thigh and elbow. As part of the claim we helped her to receive medical treatment so that she was able to fully recover after which she received compensation of £4,900.00 which included her loss of earnings.
I have also settled a claim for an elderly gentleman who was hit by a vehicle whilst walking along a pavement on his way to a football match. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop, leaving our client with injuries to his foot and ankle. We eventually managed to locate the driver and have settled the claim with his insurers for £2,500.00.
