Leading independent Sheffield City Region law firm Taylor Emmet LLP has advised Massarella & Co on the opening of several new cafes around the UK.

Led by Senior Associate Richard Whiteley, the firm’s commercial property team acted as legal advisors to Yorkshire-based Massarella & Co on the deal which related to the acquisition of six retail units.

Massarella & Co operates a chain of Italian cafes around the UK, including a branch in Meadowhall. The company has recently launched a new brand of Etto cafes, with the latest opening in Newcastle this summer.

Taylor Emmet helped settle the terms of the leases involved, as well as the landlords’ approvals for the fit-out works needed at the retail units.
