Richard is an extremely experienced solicitor, having been specialising in transactional property work since 2004. Richard is the manager of the commercial & agricultural property team at our Peak District office.

His aim is to give clients advice in a pithy, accessible form, to help them achieve the right outcome for their businesses and families. Richard is experienced in all forms of commercial and agricultural property transactions and queries (from small phone mast leases and grazing licences, through to large portfolio purchases), but a large percentage of his work involves:

• Land auctions
• Development land dealings (including option agreements and conditional contracts)/li>
• Pension fund acquisitions/li>
• Complex lease arrangements/li>
• Land ownership restructures/li>

Despite his Yorkshire name, Richard grew up in Buckinghamshire, but has spent most of his adult life living in Derbyshire. In his spare time, Richard is a keen guitar player and depressed follower of the Newcastle Red Bulls rugby team.
