Brief Biography
Which area do you live?
I live in Barnsley –the home of ‘Toby Tyke’. Barnsley has been and still is my home town.
What you like doing in your spare time?
Putting aside shopping, listening to music, and spending time with my family I do love the days when you can just laze about watching a good film.
Tell us something interesting about yourself
During Christmas 2016, I became the owner of a red-foot tortoise who I named Crush who has just turned 2 years old. Tortoises are one of my favourite animals along with elephants, giraffes and monkeys.
Background
What did you do before joining Taylor&Emmet?
From leaving school I went straight into full time employment. I worked as a secretary for two law firms in my home town, the first for 13.5 years. It’s during this time I worked my way up from office administrator to legal secretary doing PI, industrial disease and clin neg law. I worked in family law for the second law firm for 6 months.
What interested you in Law?
I have always had an interest in law from a young age. Whilst the world of law is quite different to what you see on TV I always had an interest in the Court/justice system from watching the Bill and CSI Miami.
If you had not gone into Law what would have been your career choice?
Had I not gone into law you would probably find me working with children in the social work/safe guarding aspect or flying around the world as an air hostess.

What are your hopes/ambitions for your future career
At the present time I enjoy the role I am in and will continue to work hard in this role.
