Brief Biography
Which area do you live?
I live in Littledale but I am originally from York. I moved here when I got married 7 ½ years ago.
What you like doing in your spare time?
I love to cook and bake, I ride horses and read too many books.
Tell us something interesting about yourself
I have achieved level 2 in British Sign Language and I was a mystery shopper for 3 years. I performed in a production with over 300 cast members in front of around 10,000, singing in a large choir.
Background
What did you do before joining Taylor&Emmet?
I was a paralegal in a personal injury team. Before that I had various roles from Life Insurance to Personal Shopper.
What interested you in Law?
I started working in the post room at Irwin Mitchell when I first moved to Sheffield and within a few months I was fee earning.
If you had not gone into Law what would have been your career choice?
I would love to train hearing dogs for the deaf.
Looking Ahead
What are your hopes/ambitions for your future career
My ideas for the future are always changing but I hope that I have achieved the most I can in the position I am in. My hope for the future is simply to be proud of what I do for a career and for my family.
