We have recently settled a case for a Sheffield lady in her 70’s who suffered a fall due to an uneven road surface. Our client suffered injuries to her back, knee, right arm and teeth
Liability was initially denied by the City Council and we advised our client to continue the claim. This led to the starting of court proceedings and an eventual settlement of just over £6000.
Our client was delighted with the outcome, particularly as we considered this amount to be more than the value that many judges would have given to the claim.
