…check the international market.
The three French hens are reminding us to shop around, and still consider trade deals with businesses in other jurisdictions.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Brexit, international trade is certainly not going to stop. Whilst it might have been affected in some ways, you shouldn’t let Brexit stop you from thinking about sourcing any element of your business from outside the UK.
If you are considering a relationship with an international business, you may wish to have a bespoke agreement drafted ensuring that you are sufficiently protected. If the other business is within an EU member state, you will certainly need to consider whether Brexit will have any implications on your contract, most likely an increase in costs of products or services.
If you are considering trading or entering into an agreement with a company outside of the UK, contact our dedicated corporate and commercial team to discuss what might be right for you. We will get to know you and your business so that we can offer advice that is tailored to your specific needs. To get in touch contact Rob Moore on (0114) 218 4000 or email info@tayloremmet.co.uk
