I have just settled a claim for a young man who suffered a nasty injury to his left leg whilst our riding his Jet Ski with a friend at a local country park.
The engine of his friend’s Jet Ski failed whilst he was driving at full speed as a result of a known fault. The friend was unable to brake or turn the steering column and collided at speed with our client who was riding his own Jet Ski at the time.
Liability was admitted by the friend’s insurers at an early stage and we arranged physiotherapy for our client which helped him to recover from his injuries. After obtaining a medical report he later received a £11,450.00 settlement.
This figure included reimbursement of his lost earnings as a result of the accident.
