We have recently settled a case for a gentleman in his 50’s who suffered an accident at work. He was working on a car when a tool that he was using malfunctioned, and ejected a coiled spring with force which struck him in the face. This caused injury to his face, mouth and front teeth resulting in a small scar and the need for significant dental work.
Liability was accepted by the employer’s insurers and damages were paid in the sum of £8000.
