We have recently settled a case for a 55 year old gentleman who suffered a fracture to his right ankle.
The client was taking part in a pool tournament in a pub with his friends. He went to the Gents at approximately 11.15pm and upon entering he slipped over due to a wet floor and fractured his right ankle .
Liability was initially denied by the defendant’s insurers, but after hard work by our Eleanor Buckley (pictured), our client was awarded damages of £3500.
Our client was very happy with the outcome as it covered his loss of earnings and compensated him for the pain and suffering he endured during the healing process.
