Samantha Sims
Partner, Clinical Negligence
Samantha is a Partner and Senior APIL accredited specialist in our clinical negligence department. She joined the team in 2014 after studying law in Sheffield and qualified as a Solicitor in 2019 after completing her training contract at the firm.
She acts exclusively for clients who have suffered an injury or deterioration in their health due to sub-standard care by hospitals, GPs and other healthcare providers. She has a wide range of expertise in clinical negligence cases including delay in diagnosis of cancer, negligent surgery, prescription errors, defective medical devices, pressure sores, falls, neurological injuries, anaesthetic awareness, consent claims, ophthalmic negligence, fatal claims and orthopaedic claims. She helps and supports her clients throughout their case and is passionate about achieving the very best results for them. She is sensitive, professional and empathetic, and understands that people can often feel vulnerable after traumatic events.
When Samantha is not at work, she enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends and walking in the Peak District.
