Oliver Simpson

Partner, Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts

Oliver is a Partner in the Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts team and Head of the Private Wealth department. Oliver joined Taylor Emmet in 2016 after graduating from Newcastle University having read Biomedical Science. Oliver completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course whilst working full time at Taylor Emmet during his period of recognised training.

Oliver subsequently qualified and joined the Private Client team as a solicitor in 2019 and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2020. Oliver won the Young Practitioner of the Year at the British Wills and Probate Awards 2021. Oliver enjoys assisting clients with their often complex affairs including tax and estate planning.

Outside of work and academia, Oliver enjoys to play and watch sport including Rugby, Water polo and Football and spend time with his family and friends.
