Nigel Hoar

IT Director

Nigel is the firm’s IT Director and Head of IT based at our Sheffield branch.

Nigel has a Software Engineering BEng from Sheffield University and holds a post graduate degree in Computer Science (MIME) from Université du Maine, Le Mans France. Nigel has worked in IT for over 30 years, and was the former Head of IT for a multinational Airline Catering firm, and was a director of IntraLAN a London based IT Consultancy. He joined Taylor Emmet in 2003 as an IT Consultant before becoming the firm’s IT Director in 2016.

Nigel is also fluent in French and Italian and has lived and worked for some time in Greece and Italy. He moved home for his beloved Manchester City who he is a passionate supporter.
