Emilda has practised in Yorkshire and Derbyshire since qualifying as a solicitor in 1993. Over the years, Emilda has successfully trained, grown and led teams in the provision of private client services, and is pleased to be able to continue to enhance her expertise by being part of a firm committed to providing their clients with expert advice.

Emilda has been a registered Estates and Trust Practitioner with the Society of Trust and Estate Partitioners (STEP) since 2002 and is a trustee of several trusts. Her areas of expertise include estate administration, preparation of wills, tax advice including inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax and income tax for trusts and estates, creation and administration of trusts (including personal injury trusts), Court of Protection and enduring/lasting powers of attorney, property transactions, asset preservation and general elderly care advice.

Emilda has a passion for shoes, books and the theatre. She embraces her Malaysian roots through her love of cooking and spreading the word on Malaysian cuisine.
