Amy Harris

Partner, Head of Property Litigation

Amy is a Partner and Head of the Property Litigation department.

Amy qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and has previously worked at national law firms specialising in commercial property disputes. Her main areas of work include lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, adverse possession and prescription claims, forfeiture, break notices, boundary disputes and general commercial lease advice. In addition to this, Amy has also trained as a commercial mediator.

In 2015, Amy took a break from law to become the CEO of a charity leading them through a period of substantial growth, the challenges of Covid and a significant premises move. She then returned to law in 2023 and joined Taylor Emmet.

In her spare time, Amy is passionate about promoting mental health and wellbeing and is a keen tennis and pickleball player.
