Amanda Thornton

Assistant Conveyancer, Conveyancing

Amanda is an Assistant Conveyancer at Taylor Emmet where she deals with a caseload of property sales and assists with purchase, re-mortgage and other conveyancing transactions.

After working for another local Firm of Solicitors, Amanda joined Taylor Emmet in December 1993 as a Float Legal Secretary covering the whole Firm. She was quickly offered a position in the Residential Conveyancing Department as a Legal Secretary. Having subsequently progressed to become a Legal Assistant, she was made an Assistant Conveyancer in October 2020 and now has over 30 years experience in conveyancing.

In her spare time Amanda enjoys going to the theatre and concerts, getting away for city breaks or walking in the countryside, with North Norfolk and the Lake District being favourite areas to visit.
