Where do you get free, independent, specialist advice on a medical or care related matter? Until now, there has been no dedicated free medico-legal drop-in advice service in the Peak District. We’re changing that.
Our new Bakewell office is now the central hub for our Peak District legal services, and we’re proud to offer free drop-in advice clinics for anyone with a medical or care-related legal concern.
Whether it’s easier for you to call us or simply drop in, we’re here to help.
Medical and clinical negligence is a highly specialised field, and not all solicitors are trained to advise properly in this area. At our clinics, you’ll speak directly with qualified solicitors who are experts in this field, each with many years of experience.
You can be assured that our advice will be provided by qualified, expert solicitors, with many years of experience in this area. All enquiries will be strictly confidential and the advice provided will be free of charge. We can advise you on next steps, what your options are, time limits, how to apply for records and even help you draft a Complaint. We will help guide you on any query you may have. This can include a medical concern for you, or for a family member and also includes concerns about elderly relatives and care home provision. We advise on issues in relation to GPs, hospitals, district nursing care and any other aspect of medical and care provision.
Specialist advice clinics
In addition to general medical and care concerns, we also run specialist free clinics focusing on:
- Birth trauma and maternity care
- Delayed cancer diagnosis
- Women’s health
- Elderly care
- Children’s and young people’s care
- Men’s health
Our team recently won Clinical Negligence Team of the Year at the 2025 Legal Awards, so you can be confident you’re receiving the very best advice and support.
We believe that legal support should be accessible, approachable, and people-friendly. By offering free clinics, we aim to bridge the gap in specialist advice across the Peak District and provide the community with the guidance it deserves.
