Remember A Charity Week (7 to 13 September 2026) celebrates the power and impact of legacy giving and the lasting difference gifts in Wills can make.
Throughout the week, we’re shining a light on some of the charities making a real difference in our communities and beyond, including Rotherham Hospice, and exploring the vital role gifts in Wills play in helping them continue their work for future generations.
Supporting families when they need it most
Rotherham Hospice provides compassionate, personalised care and support to people living with life limiting illnesses, as well as their families and loved ones. Its team provides care in the hospice, in patients’ homes and across the local community, helping people to live as well as possible during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
The impact of gifts in Wills

Alan’s Story
Alan’s experience of Rotherham Hospice began when his wife Jan spent her final days there. What they expected to be a short stay became ten precious days of kindness, care and comfort.
His experience left a lasting impression and inspired Alan to leave a gift in his Will, helping support other families in the future.
