Leading Sheffield City Region law firm Taylor Emmet has been recognised by the Legal 500 2023 edition across five departments, reinforcing the firm’s extensive expertise.
Taylor Emmet’s Family Department continues to be applauded as a key player and remained in Tier One of the rankings.
Head of Family Law Michaela Evans was also named in the Hall of Fame, with a client testimonial describing her as ‘by a country mile the best matrimonial finance solicitor in Sheffield.’ The Legal 500 Hall of Fame highlights individuals who have received constant praise from their clients for continued excellence and are at the pinnacle of the profession.
The Legal 500 praised the ‘extremely experienced and innovative’ Family Law team, including the ‘excellent’ Family Mediator Dawn Lowry. In addition, Partner Lucy Rodgers was praised for managing Taylor Emmet’s Legal Aid services with ‘understanding, professionalism and care’.
Taylor Emmet’s Contentious Probate team rose to Tier One of the rankings, with Partner Alex Watkinson noted as a ‘leading individual’. The Legal 500 noted that the team is ‘regarded by many as a market leader’ and ‘prides itself on its advocation of alternative, non-contentious means of dispute resolution.’
Taylor Emmet’s Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Corporate teams all remain in Tier Three of the Legal 500 rankings.
The Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury teams were praised for their ‘personable, professional and prompt service’, while the Corporate department was commended for ‘good use of online communications, and prompt and considered advice’.
