A team of 13 colleagues from Yorkshire and Derbyshire law firm Taylor Emmet took on a skydive to support the firm’s four charity partners. Every member of the team faced their fears to complete the challenge, falling from 15,000ft at Hibaldstow Airfield.

The skydive was completed to support Taylor Emmet’s four charity partners – Birth Trauma Association, Disasters Emergency Committee, The Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Support Dogs.

The skydivers were split into four teams, with each one tasked with raising as much as possible for each charity partner, with over £6,000 being raised.

The charity challenge formed part of Taylor Emmet’s broader charitable commitment for 2022. The team were able to take advantage of a firmwide ‘Volunteer Day’ initiative, to which all employees are entitled. The volunteer day enables each team member the opportunity to take part in a fully paid day to volunteer for any charity of their choice.

Anna Mack, Conveyancing Administrator at Taylor Emmet said: “It was an incredible experience – very nerve-wracking but after the initial fear of jumping out of the plane, the feeling was amazing.

“I am proud to support our four charity partners which all do fantastic work and I’m so pleased for everyone who completed the skydive with me.”
