The work of one of our up-and-coming residential property experts is being celebrated at a forthcoming national industry awards ceremony.
Legal executive, Helen Millard, is one of three individuals shortlisted in the ‘One to Watch’ Conveyancer of the Year category at The British Conveyancing Awards 2022.
Helen – the only Yorkshire-based contender for the award – will be attending the awards ceremony, which is being held on March 15 in London. Hosted by BBC journalist, Samira Ahmed, it is being organised to commend those in the conveyancing sector who go above and beyond for the UK’s home movers.
The ‘One to Watch’ award recognises an exceptional individual who can demonstrate a commitment to honing their craft and has delivered outstanding service to clients. Helen qualified as a legal executive in just two years, whilst working fulltime at Taylor Emmet, and now runs a team of three at our city centre headquarters. She was recently described by repeat clients as “the best solicitor we have ever worked with.”
Neil Riley, head of our residential conveyancing team, said: “We are incredibly proud of Helen’s quality of work and her focus on client care. She is an excellent ambassador for Taylor Emmet and is, without doubt, a very worthy candidate for the ‘One to Watch’ award. We will all be rooting for her at the forthcoming award ceremony. Achieving national recognition of her talent will be a huge boost to her career.”
We are not strangers to The British Conveyancing Awards, having been shortlisted in two categories last year. The competition is run by Today’s Conveyancer magazine and winners are selected by a panel of industry experts.
