As we countdown to the most wonderful time of the year, we’ve been busy spreading festive cheer with our local charity partners.
Emmet the support dog visits
Due to our longstanding partnership with Support Dogs, and having donated over £10,000, we were delighted when we were given the opportunity to name one of their puppies.
Emmet recently visited our Sheffield South West offices to meet our team. We were delighted to see him flourishing with his training – he is well on his way to changing someone’s life forever!
Our charity partners, Support Dogs also visited our Sheffield Central office to share all over the amazing work they are doing for people with disabilities.
Our snowflake lit up the night sky
For the fourth year running, we have sponsored The Children’s Hospital Charity’s Snowflake campaign.
On Monday 2nd December, we attended the Sheffield Children’s Hospital for the annual switch on of the snowflakes. We’re proud to be amongst amazing Yorkshire businesses in supporting the Charity and their amazing work.
Our colleague donated presents to children in hospital
This year, we’re also collecting presents and gifts for The Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital, so every child has the opportunity to feel festive this Christmas, even if they are in hospital.
Our teams donated a range of board games, arts and crafts, construction kits, jewellery and art kits, and toys such as rattles and kaleidoscopes to stimulate babies’ senses. And we are so proud of our colleagues’ generosity.
We raffled a chocolate bouquet for charity
In October, we donated chocolate bars to Weston Park Cancer Charity for some of their patients. The Charity have since transformed this into a chocolate-lover’s dream!
We raffled the chocolate bouquet in our Sheffield City Centre office, and raised over £100 for the charity.
Tasking our keen knitting colleagues
Throughout Autumn, we called on our colleagues to knit and crochet clothes for newborn babies and toddlers, as part of our Baby Clothes Appeal.
Our wonderful teams made pieces of clothing for the appeal, which we donated this month!
We’re proud to partner with our charities of the year, Support Dogs, Birth Trauma Association, The Children’s Hospital Charity and Weston Park Cancer Charity. In June, we announced that we’d raised £20,000 for our charity partners, meaning each charity received £5,000 thanks to our colleagues’ efforts.
