Oliver Simpson was named Young Practitioner of the Year at the British Wills and Probate Awards in late 2021. He has looked back at what he has achieved in the past year at Taylor Emmet, working in the wills, probate, tax & trusts team and as a member of the Private Wealth department.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Originally from Sheffield, Oliver joined us in 2016 after graduating from Newcastle University. He achieved a Distinction in both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course whilst working full-time at Taylor Emmet during his period of recognised training and joined the Private Client team as a solicitor in 2019.<\/p>\n

This year Oliver achieved the impressive feat of a Distinction in the STEP Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Private Wealth Advice and also became a full member of STEP within six months, well ahead of the expected completion time of two years.<\/p>\n

Another career milestone for Oliver came earlier this year when he was promoted to Associate Solicitor.<\/p>\n

Oliver<\/strong> said: “I enjoy the challenge of helping clients with complex cases. I was delighted to be promoted to Associate after a fast-paced six years at Taylor Emmet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

With the Wills and Probate awards taking place later this month, Oliver will soon be handing over the baton of Young Practitioner of the Year.<\/p>\n
