The driver veered across the carriageway, striking the Claimant\u2019s vehicle and causing it to collide with the central reservation barrier. The Claimant suffered whiplash injuries to his neck and back together with psychological symptoms.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003a7a;\"><strong>The Case<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0tried to identify\u00a0the correct insurer for the lorry driver using an online database of insurers\u00a0but this unfortunately proved fruitless. We therefore contacted the Motor Insurer\u2019s Bureau in Milton Keynes, who after investigating the matter,\u00a0were able to provide us with the insurer\u2019s English handling agents. We corresponded with the\u00a0agents for over twelve months as they were unable to obtain confirmation of the circumstances of the accident from the lorry driver. After many months of corresponding with them however, liability was eventually admitted.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003a7a;\"><strong>The Outcome<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Following the admission of liability, we obtained a medical report on the Claimant\u2019s injuries. The medical expert recommended that the Client should\u00a0undergo a course of extensive physiotherapy, so arrangements were made and he received that treatment. He went on to make a full recovery after which we were obtained damages for him in the sum of \u00a33,750.00<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003a7a;\"><strong>Horse Riding Injury<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Stittle recently acted for a lady injured when riding her horse on private land.<\/p>\n<p>She and a friend were setting out on a ride when a man who was working nearby startled the horses, causing our client to be thrown off. As a result she suffered a fractured collarbone amongst other injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately the man\u2019s insurers admitted liability at the outset and paid for our client to undergo extensive rehabilitation in addition to her NHS treatment. She made a near-complete recovery from her injuries and was able to return to her hobby of horse riding.
