This is the deadline you have\u00a0by which to either issue Court proceedings or settle the claim. If you failed to issue Court proceedings within the limitation date, your claim would be statute-barred and you would not be able to pursue the matter any further.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003a7a;\"><strong>In the UK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The limitation period in the UK is three years from the date of the\u00a0accident.
