Emmet is the newest member of Taylor &amp; Emmet\u2019s Family Law and Family Mediation team.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Emmet is here to remind us how important it is to remember the children in the cases that we deal with.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In fact not only should we remember them, we should \u00a0focus on them.\u00a0\u00a0 We need to put the children first whenever we work with our clients in dealing with their divorce, separation or other family law matter.<\/p>\n<p>It is not going to be all work and no play for Emmet.\u00a0\u00a0 He seems like an adventurous little dog and I am sure he will go on holidays, trips and outings with members of the team.\u00a0 We are already squabbling about which office he should live in when he is not out and about!<\/p>\n<p>Emmet was a very excitable little pup last week.\u00a0\u00a0 He had been looking forward to\u00a0 his first Family Mediation Team Meeting.\u00a0 He was very keen to meet the members of the Team who help couples resolve disputes, particularly relating to arrangements for their children, without having to go to Court.\u00a0 Emmet doesn\u2019t like Court.\u00a0\u00a0 He doesn\u2019t want parents arguing.\u00a0\u00a0 He wants them to agree.\u00a0 He knows that children are happier when their parents are in agreement and not fighting over them.\u00a0\u00a0 Here he is posing for his first team photo.\u00a0 He thought some of the law that they talked about was a bit dull but he enjoyed the company and is pleased that the separating families of South and West Yorkshire are in such good hands.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-107 aligncenter\" alt=\"Emmet team meeting\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Emmet-team-meeting-300x169.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I would like to introduce you to Emmet the Dog.
