{"id":3747,"date":"2014-02-27T09:43:52","date_gmt":"2014-02-27T09:43:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/?p=26"},"modified":"2014-02-27T09:43:52","modified_gmt":"2014-02-27T09:43:52","slug":"ladies-and-men-in-red-boost-tayloremmet-charity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/ladies-and-men-in-red-boost-tayloremmet-charity\/","title":{"rendered":"Ladies (and men) in red boost Taylor&#038;Emmet charity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Visitors to Sheffield\u2019s Taylor&amp;Emmet LLP could have been forgiven for seeing red on Friday, as employees donned their best rosy attire for a special Valentine\u2019s themed dress down day.<\/p>\n<p>Staff at the firm\u2019s four offices made an extra special sartorial effort to show how much they love raising funds for their annual charity, the local Alzheimer\u2019s Society.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/alz-valentines.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-29 alignleft\" alt=\"Processed with Rookie\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/alz-valentines-300x218.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"218\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The combined endeavours of employees at Taylor&amp;Emmet\u2019s Arundel Gate, Ecclesall Road, Dronfield and Bakewell branches brings the total raised to help people and carers living with dementia to \u00a3480 in just six weeks.<\/p>\n<p>A raffle held at the firm\u2019s annual dinner last month kicked off Taylor&amp;Emmet\u2019s fundraising in style, adding \u00a3350 to the kitty, thanks to prizes donated by local businesses, including afternoon tea for two at Andrew\u2019s Caf\u00e9 Tea Rooms and a spa day with treatments at the Clumber Park Hotel near Worksop.<\/p>\n<p>Claire Fletcher, Taylor&amp;Emmet\u2019s marketing coordinator, said: \u201cI\u2019d like to thank everyone who threw themselves so enthusiastically into our Valentine\u2019s dress down day and spread a little love for our annual charity. We have made an excellent start to this year\u2019s fundraising and we aim to keep the momentum going, through a series of entertaining and energetic challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alzheimer\u2019s Society provides practical services and essential contact for families coping with dementia.
