{"id":3732,"date":"2022-06-23T09:59:11","date_gmt":"2022-06-23T08:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/?p=3732"},"modified":"2023-10-18T11:58:24","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T10:58:24","slug":"dealmakers-wins-regional-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/dealmakers-wins-regional-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Dealmakers Wins Regional Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Our corporate law team has been honoured at a prestigious regional awards ceremony, securing two top prizes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Associate solicitor, Tom Haywood, was named <strong>\u2018Emerging Dealmaker of the Year\u2019<\/strong> at the South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards, whilst the team was recognised for its role in the <strong>\u2018Deal of the Year (up to \u00a32.5 million).\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tom was nominated for \u2018Emerging Dealmaker\u2019 by members of the local corporate finance community and placed on a shortlist of five. His win reflects the complexity of his deals and the results achieved for clients. He said: \u201cI am pleased to be recognised by my peers and grateful for the support I receive from Taylor&amp;Emmet and colleagues across the sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We also took home the <strong>\u2018Deal of the Year (up to \u00a32.5 million)\u2019<\/strong> accolade after representing the sellers in the management buy-out of industrial oven manufacturer, Airflow Group. Hentons Corporate Finance acted for the management team. The awards\u2019 judges hailed it a <strong>\u201cregional success story supported by local dealmakers.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Rob Moore, head of our corporate team, added: <em>\u201cTom is a worthy winner of the \u2018Emerging Dealmaker\u2019 award and we are very proud of his achievements. He is a capable, knowledgeable solicitor who receives consistently positive feedback from clients.
