{"id":3624,"date":"2022-02-09T13:44:32","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T13:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/?p=3624"},"modified":"2022-02-09T13:44:32","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T13:44:32","slug":"tayloremmet-shortlisted-for-five-local-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tayloremmet.co.uk\/blogs\/tayloremmet-shortlisted-for-five-local-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Taylor&#038;Emmet Shortlisted for Five Local Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Our talented solicitors have been nominated for an unprecedented five awards at a forthcoming celebration of the local legal sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Specialists from across our personal services department are being recognised at the Sheffield and District Law Society\u2019s Yorkshire Law Banquet and Awards on February 25.<\/p>\n<p>We are among the shortlisted firms contending for the residential property, private client, family law, personal injury\/clinical negligence and rising star of the year categories, whilst a group of our young solicitors will also be collecting a special award for their fundraising efforts last year.<\/p>\n<p>Held at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria in Sheffield, the Yorkshire Law Banquet and Awards is a celebration of the region\u2019s brightest and best solicitors and their achievements in the last 12 months. To make the shortlist in five of the awards\u2019 nine categories, we had to demonstrate our commitment to clients and dedication to best practice.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Chief executive, Steve Hinshelwood,<\/strong> said: <em>\u201cAlthough our very capable teams often receive industry recognition, we have never been shortlisted in so many categories at one awards ceremony before. We are really looking forward to the forthcoming banquet and to marking the accomplishments of our sector with colleagues from across the industry.
