Our dedicated team of runners were out in force on Sunday to represent the firm at our namesake event, The Taylor&Emmet Dronfield 10K.<\/p>\n
Eight members of staff lined up with hundreds of participants taking part in the annual road race, which we have sponsored for the last three years.<\/p>\n
Leading the charge was our IT expert, Mike Robinson, who completed the course in 41:59, finishing 63rd<\/sup> overall, from a field of more than 700 elite and amateur runners. Our fastest female was conveyancer, Jodie Copley, in a time of 52:26 minutes.<\/p>\n The Taylor&Emmet Dronfield 10K is accredited by UK Athletics and attracts participants from across the area. This year\u2019s male and female winners were Alfie Manthorpe, in a time of 32:37 and Heather Hatton in 41:34.<\/p>\n Our CEO, Steve Hinshelwood, completed the course in one hour, two minutes. He said: \u201cIt was fantastic to be running with my colleagues, among such an enthusiastic crowd, representing the firm and supporting the organisers, who do such an excellent job of marshalling the 10K and fun run. Our office in Dronfield enjoys strong links with the local community and we are proud to be associated with such a well-established, respected event.\u201d<\/p>\n The Taylor&Emmet Dronfield 10K is organised to raise funds for the 7th<\/sup> Dronfield Scout Group and local mayor\u2019s charity.
