Liability was initially denied by the insurers who alleged that the step that caused the accident was not defective\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After carrying out investigations\u00a0we were able to find an independent witness who supported our client&#8217;s allegations and the insurers changed their minds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After months of negotiating, we have obtained compensation of \u00a318,500.00 for our client.
