She went out of the back door to take out the refuse and walked down a flight of approximately five concrete steps when,\u00a0without warning,\u00a0a large security light came on and blinded her.<\/p>\n<p>This caused her to lose her balance and fall down the stairs. She suffered with torn ligaments in her ankle, a sprain to her wrist and bruised knees which she took six months to recover from.
