I have recently settled a claim on behalf of a client against a well-known supermarket. The client worked at the store and slipped over due to water which had leaked from a freezer.
The client sustained a fracture to her shoulder which affected her significantly. Despite an initial denial of liability we continued to pursue the case and after six months, the Supermarket’s insurers finally agreed it was responsible for her injury. We later obtained compensation for the client in a sum exceeding £10,000 which included a generous amount for her injury and the earnings she had lost during her absence from work.
We rarely accept a denial of liability from an insurer and this is another example of how we work closely with our clients to achieve the best possible outcome for them in each case.
