Deborah Thompson is head of our childcare department.
She specialises in arrangements relating to residency and Social Services involvement in care proceedings.
Deborah joined Taylor&Emmet in 2000 and now represents individuals in public and private legal cases, including children, parents and other family members.
She has sat on the Law Society’s Children Panel since 1996 and the Solicitors Family Law Association Accredited Panel of Specialists since 1999. Deborah is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children, an accredited specialist with Resolution and our legal aid/public-funding representative.
Deborah lives in Barnsley and before joining Taylor&Emmet spent six years working in Nottingham. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, running and cycling.
