David is head of our employment team and our partner responsible for client care and complaints.
He advises on all aspects of employment law for organisations in the private and public sectors.
David is listed in the directory of Legal Experts 2010 as a highly recommended employment lawyer in Sheffield.
David read law at Oxford University before qualifying and joined Taylor&Emmet from Eversheds in 2008. He is known particularly for his expertise in respect of the TUPE regulations, specifically in relation to outsourcing.
Having guided a number of large organisations through complex transactions, restructures and reorganisations, David regularly speaks at seminars and training events and contributes to employment law articles in the media. He also wrote a chapter on outsourcing in the NHS for the publication, Employment Law in the NHS (IDS, 2007).
David is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and in his spare time, he can be found watching Liverpool FC, fly-fishing and entertaining his young sons
