TAYLOR& Trio Turn up Heat for Local Charity

Three intrepid fundraisers from leading Sheffield solicitors, Taylor&Emmet LLP, have proved they are hot stuff by completing a fire walk to raise £745 for local charity, Neurocare.

The Taylor&Emmet trio walked across a bed of hot coals to support the charity, which raises funds for the Neurosciences Department at the city’s Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

Putting their best feet forward were Taylor&Emmet’s clinical negligence legal secretary, Alex Elliot, clinical negligence secretary, Odette Tovey and personal injury legal secretary, Emma Birtles.

The trio were part of a 29-strong group of Neurocare fundraisers who all successfully crossed a 20-foot bed of burning coals at the Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow, with nothing more than a motivational speech to galvanise them.

Taylor&Emmet’s HR manager, Hannah Southern, said: “The majority of Taylor&Emmet’s employees live in and around the Sheffield area and we are all keen to support a charity that is working hard to improve medical facilities in the city. Alex, Odette and Emma did incredibly well to complete such a daunting challenge and raise so much money for this very worthy cause. We have no doubt that the funds raised at this event will be put to very good use.”
