TAYLOR&EMMET SHOWS HOW TO SURVIVE CRUNCH

Leading Sheffield solicitor, Taylor&Emmet LLP, is adding extra crunch to its latest business breakfast, by providing a range of practical advice on surviving the recession.

Taylor&Emmet is hosting a free breakfast seminar on Thursday, May 14 to help local companies of all sizes manage the credit crunch.

The seminar will be held at Sheffield United Football Club’s Marston’s Suite. It will feature a number of speakers from Taylor&Emmet’s business legal services team, who will cover topics such as credit management and debt collection, protecting company assets and property rent defaults.

Following the presentations, delegates will have an opportunity to put questions to Taylor&Emmet’s panel of experts, who will be representing the employment, commercial litigation, commercial property and corporate teams. Members of the firm’s personal legal services department will also be on hand to answer individual enquiries.

Anthony Long, Taylor&Emmet’s chief executive, said: “Much has already been said about the current state of the UK economy and even the most optimistic forecasters do not predict any recovery until next year at the earliest. With this in mind, we want to ensure local businesses are best placed to survive the recession, by providing practical, no-nonsense solutions in our usual jargon-free manner.”

Taylor&Emmet’s Surviving the Credit Crunch breakfast seminar will take place from 8am to 10am. All places at this event are now taken, but delegates can register interest in the firm’s future seminars by contacting Hannah Southern on (0114) 218 4000 or emailing: hannah.southern@tayloremmet.co.uk
