TAYLOR&EMMET CELEBRATES YOUNG DEALMAKER PRIZE
Taylor&Emmet’s Peter Crawford was named ‘Young Dealmaker of the Year’ at Yorkshire Business Insider’s South Yorkshire Dealmakers Dinner. The region’s corporate finance community nominated Peter for the award, which recognises the talents of dealmakers under 30 years old. Local banks, accountants, brokers and lawyers were asked to vote for their choice, before a shortlist was drawn up and the winner announced at the dinner, held at Since joining Taylor&Emmet in January last year, Peter has made a significant contribution to the firm’s corporate team. Deals that won him specific recognition include the acquisition of the business and assets of Penistone Hardmetals Limited by Triten International Limited, the management buy-out of Lewis Wadsworth by Hepplewhite Property Services Limited and the respective sales of the entire share capital of Yorkshire Crane Hire Limited and AH Burslam Limited. Peter said: “It is an honour to have your professional skills acknowledged by colleagues and peers and I am very happy to be named ‘Young Dealmaker of the Year.’ This award reflects the huge amount of work that every member of Taylor&Emmet’s corporate team has put into building our presence and reputation in the marketplace.
