TAYLOR&EMMET SPONSORS SHEEPDOG TRIALS

Members of staff from Taylor&Emmet Solicitors will be flocking to Derbyshire’s premier sheepdog trials this weekend, along with visitors from across the UK.

The leading Sheffield-based firm of solicitors is the main sponsor at this year’s Longshaw Sheepdog Trials, which runs from Thursday to Saturday (August 28-30).

Taylor&Emmet’s senior residential conveyancer, John Outram, has an established family association with the sheepdog trials, whilst Longshaw’s current president, Jim Fulton, is a long-standing client of the firm.

Commercial litigation expert, Rob Moore, will be extending Taylor&Emmet’s links with the trials by participating in the fell race, organised by Dark Peak Fell Runners in association with Longshaw Sheepdog Trials, which takes place on the final day of the competition. Visitors at the event will also be treated to a parade of foxhounds and a demonstration by the search and rescue dogs from Edale Mountain Rescue team.

2008 marks Longshaw Sheepdog Trials’ 110th year and the association now boasts members from across the UK. This year, the trials welcome their first overseas competitor, who will be representing Sweden.
