EMMERDALE’S JO COULD USE TAYLOR&EMMET HELPLINE

Emmerdale’s current story line focusing on domestic abuse highlights the value of family law services, such as Taylor&Emmet Solicitors’ free emergency helpline.

The leading Sheffield solicitor provides a dedicated phone line – 0114 218 4040 – and free initial appointments, to give local families in distress quick access to essential legal advice.

Taylor&Emmet’s family department works closely with Sheffield’s domestic abuse projects to provide people like Emmerdale’s Jo Sugden not only with legal assistance, but also help in related matters, including emergency place of safety housing and links to counselling services.

Carol Marsh, a domestic violence specialist at Taylor&Emmet, has close connections with the city’s refuges and domestic abuse projects. She said: ”The domestic abuse being inflicted upon Emmerdale character Jo Sugden will undoubtedly strike a chord with women in similar situations across the UK.
