TAYLOR&EMMET SOLICITOR FLIES HIGH AT JCI AWARDS

Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet Solicitors is celebrating after a member of its team was voted one of the region’s top new stars of Junior Chamber International (JCI).

Taylor&Emmet employment law expert, Louise Conroy, was awarded the ‘Certificate of Merit for a New Member’ at the JCI regional heats in Hull.

Having joined JCI in April this year, Louise made a significant impact on the Sheffield branch, quickly taking on the role of social director. She was responsible for the successful marketing of the organisation’s annual dinner and co-ordinated one of its flagship events, a wine tasting, implementing innovations that enabled the ticket price to be significantly lower than previous years.

David Poddington, Taylor&Emmet’s head of employment law, said: “We are incredibly proud of Louise’s achievements. The active role she is playing in JCI has seen real benefits for both her and the firm, as her enthusiasm for and knowledge of the local business community grows.

“Louise has made a success of her role as social director by investing significant amounts of time and energy in JCI and we are very pleased to see her efforts recognised in this way.”

JCI Sheffield won a total of seven accolades at the organisation’s Yorkshire Regional Awards Dinner on Saturday October 18 in Hull.
