TAYLOR&EMMET THINKS PINK!

Staff at leading Sheffield solicitors, Taylor&Emmet, are in the pink after raising £217 for Breast Cancer Campaign.

Taylor&Emmet marked the cancer charity’s ‘wear it pink’ day by asking its employees to pay £2 to dress down for work or wear something pink.

Four volunteers, one at each of Taylor&Emmet’s offices in Sheffield and Dronfield, were nominated as the firm’s ‘pink ladies.’ They wore pink from head to toe and played a key role in encouraging clients and staff to support the event.

Hannah Southern, HR manager at Taylor&Emmet, said: “I was incredibly impressed by everyone’s efforts at our ‘wear it pink’ event, although a special mention should go to our Arundel Gate pink lady, Sue Marshall. She was an absolute star, generating a lot of good energy in the office, which in turn helped us raise a significant sum of money for Breast Cancer Campaign.

“Everyone really threw themselves into the spirit of the day – even if they only dared to dress down and wear pink socks. We were really pleased to be able to offer our support to the charity and have fun at the same time.”

The ‘wear it pink’ event marked the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which raises money to fund research projects all over the UK, from screening and prevention to genetics and treatment.
