Throughout its long history, Taylor&Emmet has played proactive role in the local community and we continue to support organisations of all shapes and sizes, from national charities to the very smallest groups that depend so greatly on the generosity of businesses.

This year, we have nominated Sheffield’s Weston Park Hospital as our annual charity and we will be running various events throughout 2010, to raise as much money as possible for the dedicated cancer hospital – one of only three in the country.

Weston Park’s senior fundraiser, Catherine Newman, said: “We are thrilled to have the backing of a firm as large as Taylor&Emmet. Its support this year will not only boost our fundraising, but also help to raise awareness of the excellent work the cancer charity does to provide new equipment and fund research into the disease.”

Taylor&Emmet enjoys close links with the city’s educational establishments and we sponsor an annual student prize for academic excellence at Sheffield Hallam University. Many of our staff and partners also provide regular support to a wide range of local schools and educational trusts
